How To Do Seated Calf Raises
|
This is an isolation exercise movement for the calves. Primary muscles used in this exercise are the calves.
To perform seated calf raises, sit in the appropriate machine and push your knees up against the padded bar. Make sure only to point of your toes are on the foot pad with the rest of your feet hanging over the edge. Next extend your calves, just as if you were standing on your tip toes until your calves are in a fully stretched upward position. Slowly lower your heel down as you go back down into your starting position. Repeat the process.
