How To Do Close Grip Bench Press

 
 
This is a compound exercise movement for the triceps. Primary muscles used in this exercise are the triceps. Secondary muscles used in this exercise are the forearms, deltoids and chest. 
 

 

 
To perform close grip bench press lay down on regular bench press equipment. Grab the  bar using a narrower than shoulder width grip. Lower the bar down in a slow and controlled manner to the middle of your chest with your elbows facing out. Force the weight back up concentrating on your triceps and squeezing them at the top of the movement. Repeat the process.
