Facts About Getting Into Shape

My Story

Like most guys, I had always dreamed of having a body like all the famous sports and movie stars, with an awesome set of six-pack abs.

And, like most guys I thought by simply doing a few hundred sit-ups every day I would get there eventually, one day.

I joined a local gym 10 years ago, and walked in there with no idea on what to do. I picked up all the routines I saw other people doing, and just copied them not knowing any better.

The first few months I saw some minor results, but, nothing to the standard I had hoped for. I did not have the washboard abs I wanted, and I would not settle for any less.

I did the same routines for over a year and never achieved the desired physique I had wanted. Looking back now, I am so surprised I didn't quit.

I decided to finally do some research and turned to bodybuilding magazines and the Internet. What a mistake that was! I found a number of websites with a lot of conflicting information and the bodybuilding magazines had workouts and nutrition plans used by the pro-bodybuilders. That would be okay except, I was not on 1 litre of steroids like the pro-bodybuilders, nor did I ever plan to go down that path.

Some websites I came across would say to lift heavy weight for best results, while another would say lift light weights, and do higher reps to get ripped. I was so confused, and so overloaded with conflicting information, I didn't know who to believe!

One day, while surfing the web, I stumbled across a piece of information that would finally set me on a clear path, one that I knew would allow me to reach my goals. It was a research article that had been published in the Journal of Applied Physiology. It was a scientific study on muscle response to heavy resistance weight training. The results of the research conducted showed how heavy weights increased muscle strength, and power over lighter resistance training. Instead of reading magazines and websites written by people who probably didn't even have a great body, I decided to turn to science. There was so much actual scientific research on muscle building, resistance training, cardiovascular exercise, and nutrition. I struggled to realise why I had never thought about it earlier. I read everything I could find regarding getting in shape, based on scientific research.

From there the results started to come fast - I was confident in what I was doing knowing that I had scientific evidence to back up my every action. I had so many of my friends and work colleagues asking me about how to get in shape, what exercises to do, and what to eat, after they saw me transform my body. That is why I decided to create this website with everything I know; to answer all the beginners' questions and clear the confusion regarding getting in shape.

I believe the only thing stopping people from getting a great body, and a set of six-pack abs is the limitation they place in their mind. If you truly want to change your body, all you have to do is change your mind set and make it happen. I have all the information you need to make it possible on this website. You just need the strong desire to change your body, and implement it.

Good luck in your journey.
